The desire to do a CCM station has been on our hearts for quite a while but maybe a better way to say that would be to say the desire to do a CCM station “the right way” has been on our hearts for quite some time.
In April of 2010 the money was raised and The Healing Light was signed on.
By far the number one comment CCM radio gets is that we always play the same songs again and again. We are very proud that The Healing Light gives at least 8 hours between the same songs as opposed to most CCM outlets who have between two and three hours between the same songs.
The other factor is that while much of the entire CCM music library has been popular over the years and made record companies lots of money, not all of that music was truly anointed by God. Like our other stations, we have hand selected songs that we believe to carry a timeless anointing for airplay on The Healing Light and are continuing to add music weekly.
We believe The Healing Light has a wonderful future including live DJs and wide scale expansion coming soon.
