We have a lady here in the ministry that we have worked with a lot over many years now. She doesnt have a car but we realized a couple years ago that she lived close to a very large church that has a reputation for helping and serving people so we encouraged her to attend there. After 2 years of both her and us making phone calls to this church, we were both getting the run around on the phone. Lots of promises of call backs and lots of transfers to this person or that person but at the end of the day, no one could ever get her a ride.
If I said the name of this church, you would recognize it instantly but the point of this blog isn’t to belittle that church. It’s to address the larger point which i will cover in a moment.
Someone posted a video of the worship from this church online and it was wonderful. While enjoying it, i couldn’t help but notice that there were thousands of people in attendance. THOUSANDS! In my mind, I just couldn’t get past the fact that out of all of those thousands of people who were all worshiping the Lord, certainly one of them could go the two miles out of their way to give our friend a ride.
I happen to have the Pastor of this church on my friends list, so I messaged him asking for help in this matter explaining to him that after so long it felt like this was a dog and pony show as far as the process of getting this lady a ride. Well, he did indeed write back and what he said left me stunned a little. He completely dismissed the lady in question, completely dismissed the obvious issues internally with how they handle people who call in, completely dismissed that it has gone on for two years and instead took great offence that I used the term “dog and pony show”.
He wrote back and said “why would you want your friend to attend a dog and pony show?” This is a guy who teaches Kingdom Confrontation and teaches it well I might add. A man of great revelation for the body but yet in the area of day by day matters of the local church, missed the point entirely.
I wrote him back and kindly explained that based on his most recent response, I agree that our friend wouldn’t be as safe there as we assumed she would be, thanked him for his time and promptly deleted him from my friends list.
The overall point here is that you must discern the body. I believe this was a test from God for this man. After ministering to untold thousands and receiving elevation to the worlds stage, how would you handle some random stranger that simply needed a ride to the church?
No matter how much elevation God blesses you with, always be mindful to the still small voice of the Spirit and the revelation of the Father’s heart that when you have done it to the least of these, you have done it unto Jesus Himself.

There’s no two ways about it, I am just not a consistent blogger. i know I have the same 24 hours in a day that others do, I just don’t prioritize it enough to do it every single day.
I am getting ready to add new music on all three of our stations as that hasnt happened in a while. another big deal is my new CD, originally scheduled for August has been pushed back now and hopefully I’ll have it done here soon. It will feature two very long play live worship tracks and a couple shorter special things.
The Healing Stream Business Team is doing well for us so far too. To join us, head to http://healingstreamteam.com

I haven’t blogged here in a while but am back today.
There are so many crazy deals out there today in the name of a “home business opportunity ” and it’s sad because in all the Multi Level Marketing, pyramid schemes, chain letters and stuff like that that no one really wants to be a part of, there are a few companies who honestly do give you a true non MLM, non pyramid, totally legal and ethical way to own your own business from home.
Of the handful of good companies out there, we believe we have selected the best of the best in the way of honesty, ethics and integrity. Another important factor was that the company be completely and entirely debt free and even expanding to fit future needs. Those qualifications have been met.
The products had to not only be good, but they had to be exceptional. they had to beat grocery store brands hands down in every way including having no hazardous chemicals, concentrated (cheaper per use) and environmentally friendly. We’re happy to tell you that they meet all of those criteria and more.
Perhaps the most important thing was that we needed an honest opportunity where no one could get hurt. If people didnt like the products, even after they used them all, they could still get a credit on them toward something else. A company where there was a low start up cost so anyone who wanted to could come in and on top of that, take four solid months to decide if it was a good fit for people and if it wasn’t, the chance within those four months to get back that initial investment.
While there is no such thing as the perfect business, we believe we have found something very close. I’d like the chance to tell you about it so head to our site, http://comeenjoylife.com and request more info.
