Very good Mark. Sometimes people just try to make a simple concept too spiritual or complicated. Yes, God is our provider in all things but, generally speaking it does not fall from the sky. The phrase "God provides in mysterious ways" sometimes applies to the simplest, mundane methods. This may be a job that is not necessarily one's ultimate fulfillment and destiny, God's direction about a business, school, or ministry that may take years to develop (in which case item one - the unfulfilling job may be the temporary provision), or simply humbling ones' self and saying do I really NEED to (choose one or many) buy that, order that, keep subscribing to that, continue eating out, continue living like this, etc.etc.etc. Sometimes, we are just plain reluctant to admit that God's provision is always there but it may be through the obvious but mundane seemingly "natural" solutions right in front of us!
