This ministry began in late 2002 when my wife Lori and I began to surrender to the call on our lives to help others. We began to visit online chat rooms and share about God’s love and ministering directly to others. By 2005 the ministry had message boards and several various chat rooms open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week staffed with volunteers from the United States and other countries around the world.
In 2006 we held our first official ministry conference called The The Weekend Of Fire. This has now become an annual conference that we host every July.
In March of 2007 a Prophetic Word came forth to launch an Internet Radio Station so the money was raised and one month later The Healing Stream station was signed on.
In October of 2007 the ministry sowed a financial seed into Mike Murdock’s ministry and later that same night a very special harvest came in opening the door to launch our second station, The Healing Rock which plays Christian Rock from the 80s, 90s and 00s.
In late 2008 a series of Prophetic Words came forth quickly, a third radio station was brought forth and in January of 2009 we launched The Healing Wind, a station dedicated to Prophetic and longer form spontaneous music.
In May of 2009 after a crippling shortfall in giving we prayerfully involved the ministry in a home business that has helped us financially stay above water and opened the door for the increase to come. To read more about that, visit the Biz Team page.
In April of 2010, almost three years to the day after we launched our first station, we felt the leading of God to do our fourth station and The Healing Light, a station dedicated to both modern and past CCM was born.
In April of 2011 of The Healing Fire, a station dedicated to Modern Christian Rock was created. Up until that time The Healing Rock played classic and current Christian rock but we “split the rock” and now let the Healing Fire play the modern stuff exclusively.
In December of 2011 the word from the Lord came to “split the wind”. Up until that point the Healing Wind had carried a lot of slower soaking stuff along with the more fast paced prophetic praise. Along with that came the instruction to create a station of soaking that would literally be a refuge for those who have been wounded by others in the past. Thus, in January of 2012 The Healing Refuge was launched.
No “About” page is complete without mentioning the small yet critical group who have financially contributed over the years. Only God knows every detail of how He spoke to the hearts of each person at key times. Quietly and with very little fanfare they fund our efforts and everyone reading this should pray for divine increase on each one of their lives for doing so.
With six stations now streaming 24 hours a day to the ends of the earth over the Internet, we continue to press forward into what God has for us. Onward and upward in Jesus Glorious name!
